Day 13- Valencia

Day 13 28 August 2008 Today started off with a walking tour around Valencia from the Colosseum (bull ring) to the church of the holy grail. The tour guide was less than good and we passed all the sites i had seen two days ago. I later went to the Bullring museum which housed a stuffed bull and some of the fantastically colourful outfits of previous matadors. When then got taken to see the bull ring which is only small but houses thousands of people. I could imagine that once packed with people the atmosphere would be amazing. Later that day we headed to the beach (which stretches for over 7kms) and spent the rest of the afternoon there with some friends. There was plenty of people on the beach and it was very warm water and nice sand to walk on and clear blue skies. Once we got back 6 of us went to the supermarket and got heaps of cheap sangria, ice and fruit and spent the early evening enjoying Spain's best loved drink. We then headed out and got some tapas near the main square which was pretty ordinary and i also tried some paella.
