Day 10 -Edinburgh to London
Day 10 25 August 2008
Today we got up at 7am and jumped on the bus and headed back to London. A very long and boring trip with i have walked 500 miles~ being played quite often. I then headed over to Kings Cross and checked into Ashlees House a hostel which does not look to bad. The people in my room originally were going to be 14 other females (as i was put in an all girl room) after meeting some of them i declined the opportunity to party and opted for a change of room to a smaller room filed with Italian guys who can hardly speak a word of English. They are from Torino (which is where Ness and I will be getting the train at the end of our time in Italy to st Moritz in Switzerland). Its time to brush up on some Italian in my room. Tomorrow morning i head off to Valencia by plane and need to get up at 3.45am arggg to get a 7.30pm flight. I hate airport transfers....
P.s. forgot to mention that due to the Edinburgh festival occurring in Edinburgh on the weekend the streets and town was full of life and people. crazy, fun, musical and strange buskers, street performers and leaflet hander outers were every 5 metres creating a truly fantastic experience and atmosphere. There were groups from all over the world performing, singing, dancing, and playing. people were constantly handing flyers to try and get you to go to their shows. some were very inventive such as dressing up in costume, taping themselves and their flyers to poles in the street, pretending to be dead on the street (including fake blood) and all sorts of behaviour.
