Day 31- 15 September 2008
Today we went from Milan by train to Tirano (which is the last town on the border of Italy). Luckily the ticket lady did not listen to my version which was Torino (which is a town in the completely opposite direction that we needed). We got on the train which was a nice journey and ended up in Tirano and had a quick bite to eat before boarding the Bernina Express which is the journey from Tirano to St Moritz (in Switzerland). It was very pictures trip travelling through mountains, snow capped peaks and some very photogenic townships. We arrived in St Moritz to find a board with all the hotels on it and after a quick push of a button we were connected to the hotel who said they would pick us up in less than 10 minutes... for free. Once we checked in we went for a walk around St Moritz which is a pretty town and came across the Olympic Stone which is a monument for the Winter Olympics which were in St Mortiz in 1928 and 1968. And then we found the best supermarket ever which had every single thing you could ever want.
