Day 61- Paris

Day 61- 15 October 2008 Today i enjoyed a final meal of bavaria- pork snitzal and pomme fritz. I then headed to the airport and got my air berlin flight to paris (which was actually 5 minutes early). This was excellent given the last two air berlin flights were over 2 hours late each. Upon arriving at Paris Orly i got the train to Gard Du Nord and then had to wait over 40 minutes in a train in the metro system as it was delayed for some unknown reason. I then reached my hostel which is next to a lovely canal and lit up in different colours. I then found a couple of people in the hostel that were going to Moulin Rouge and asked if i would like to go. Well i thought that sounds like a good idea, so i called up and booked a seat. We headed to Moulin Rouge and waited in line and at 11pm we got in and took our seats at a lovely table with a great view. Champagne was included which was nice. Well the show was spectacular spectacular. Lots of fantastic costumes, lots of dancing, lots of bare female chests (which was quite unexpected) lots of skimpy outfits and lots of energy. There was also the can can, and lots of different other acts such as a ventrilicest, shetland ponies, pingpong jugller circ de solie performances, people hanging from the roof, even a lady swimming with snakes in a giant pool which came up from the bottom of the stage. Amazing and fantastical was Moulin Rouge. What a spectical, what a performance, it was something to be seen !!!! What an amazing first night in paris...
